Description

The Imhotek Cost Comparison Tool is a result of extensive testing carried out over satellite packet data networks. It enables the direct comparison of costs incurred when using applications over either a packet data network, such as the Inmarsat MPDS service or terrestrial GPRS, and a circuit switched network, such as ISDN or GSM data.

It is used to monitor traffic over one network, and simultaneously estimate the costs for the other network. SNMP is used to measure network traffic, and is capable of monitoring traffic on any device that can run SNMP.

The Cost Comparison Tool runs on all Windows platforms (and can monitor any SNMP device).
